RingCentral Events

Stay up to date with the latest features, improvements, and bug fixes for RingCentral Events.

Release date: July 14, 2025

  • When creating a new webinar, users will only be able to choose Session with Studio, removing the Stage option. This is the optimal, real-time video format and empowers Speakers to deliver effective presentations without any delays, while allowing attendees to request to jump on screen to share questions live.

simpler webinar setup

  • Organizers will be able to manage the Content Hub data sync to Marketo using the same app as the Events data sync to Marketo. Users will be able to turn ON/OFF for Content Hub Data sync to Marketo. By default, it will be turned ON.

  • If the feature toggle is ON, the hub visitor’s first name, last name and email will be automatically synced to the Marketo Lead Object.
  • Users will be able to map the engagement activity with the Marketo Custom Activity fields.
  • Users will be able to create a Program mapping with every Content Hub or choose to automatically create a program for every Content Hub. The automatic program mapping will be turned OFF by default but the user can choose to turn it ON.
    • If the automatic program mapping toggle is turned ON, then a program will be automatically created whenever a hub receives the first visitor in the folder selected by the user. The channel of the program can also be set by the user on the mapping UI.
    • If the user provides a program mapping or turns ON automatic program toggle, then its mandatory to provide the mapping for the Hub title and Hub URL from the Configure mapping modal in the Programs tab.
    • For every mapped program (whether automatic or manual), each time a visitor visits the content hub, they will be added as members of the mapped program, and the mapped program member fields will contain the values of hub title and hub URL.
  • Users will be able to track hub visits, URL clicked, watched video in Marketo custom activity based on the mapping provided by the user on the Engagement Data tab of the mapping UI. The user needs to create a custom activity in Marketo and then create the following string fields within that custom activity, mapping them according to the specifications below:
    • The primary field of the Custom Activity will be automatically mapped with the Hub Name, it will be a read only mapping.
    • Hub URL: Map with Hub URL.
    • Activity name. Map this with the Activity name field on mapping UI. And below are the possible values of it, that RCE will sync:
      • Hub visited
      • URL clicked
      • Watched video
    • URL Clicked: Map with URL Clicked.
    • Watched Video name: Map with the similar field
    • Video URL: Map with the similar field.
    • Time spent watching: Map with similar field
    • Total video length: Map with the similar field.
  • The user can use the custom activity and the fields in the smart campaign and smart list creation.
  • The below UTM information will also be synced to the Lead fields. But the mapping will be same as the Events UTM mapping. And it can done only at the Events tab, and the same will be reflected in the Content Hub tab on mapping UI.
