What's New

General

Breakout Rooms improvements
- Key improvements and fixes.
RingCentral Video language support
- Your RingCentral Video meetings are now in the same language as your browser or computer settings.
End-to-end encrypted meetings (Open Beta)
- Add an extra layer of security to your meetings by selecting end-to-end encryption.
Disable meeting chat
- As an administrator, you can disable chat in RingCentral Video meetings for all users through your admin portal.

Quality

Audio improvements for music
- Sharing audio from Chrome or Edge is now better with higher quality audio optimized for music.
Disable DSCP for Windows, allow disabling on Mac & Linux
- We have fixed the poor audio caused by QoS marking issues.
Windows 7 upgrade warning
- If you are using Windows 7, you will receive a warning to update your software to Windows 8.1 or later.

AI Features

Virtual backgrounds settings section header
- We have added a section header for virtual background settings to improve readability.

User Experience

Video gallery view menu
- Choose your gallery view with our new drop down menu.
Pagination controls update
- The controls to move between the pages are now shown over the filmstrip and gallery, which is a better use of space on the screen.
NQI text update
- We have removed “satisfactory connection” text from our Network Quality Indicator.
