Admin

  • Admins can let users resend their activation email when it expires. Users will receive a prompt to generate a new email to set up their account.
  • Purchase Calling Credits and Calling Credits Bundle will now show as Additional Usage Credits on a billing invoice or credit card statement.
  • Users can now choose message-only phone numbers as their Outbound Caller ID or Fax ID number.
  • All assigned phone numbers, including DigitalLines, will now show in a user’s settings under the Numbers tab in Devices and Numbers.
  • All assigned licenses will now show in a user’s settings under the Licenses tab in User Details.

Call Handling

  • Customers can now place emergency calls over VoIP from iOS devices with no SIM card using the RingCentral mobile app.

Hardware & Firmware

  • Support for an automatically provisioned Persist gateway for the following AudioCodes:
    • M800B with 4 FXO interfaces
    • M500 with no PSTN connectivity (local survivability only)
  • Cisco 9841, 9851, 9861, and 9871 phones, including their expansion modules, are now certified and available through RingCentral.
  • Added Default Area Code (DAC) support for Germany and Austria on Cisco, Avaya, Mitel, and Unify deskphones.
  • Mitel phones will no longer reboot when they receive a CheckSync command triggered by configuration changes such as hot desking sign-ins, key layout updates, presence changes, or delegated line adjustments.

Global

  • A unified API now provides the current address format and verification method.
  • The Call Logs for RingEX Global Office users with Germany as their assigned country will be masked after 7 days.
  • The Informatica service will be used to validate emergency response location addresses entered by UK customers.
