Assigning Webinar licenses to users

RingCentral Webinar is a RingEX add-on that lets you host virtual events and online training with up to 10,000 attendees. After purchasing a RingCentral Webinar license, you can assign or reassign it to users who need to host webinars. 

Note: You can purchase RingCentral Webinar licenses through your online account only if you’ve previously purchased or currently own a RingCentral Meetings Webinar license. If you don’t own a RingCentral Meetings Webinar license(s), contact RingCentral support to purchase one.

Assigning RingCentral Webinar licenses

Via Billing tab

  1. Go to Admin Portal and sign in.
  2. Click Billing from the top menu.

  1. Click Meetings > Webinar in the left panel.

  1.   Click on the three-dot Action icon at the far right of the Webinar license, then select Assign.

  1. Select the user to whom you want to assign the license, then click Assign.

Note: The assigned user will receive an activation link in their email. When they open the link, they will need to authenticate their RingCentral credentials before being redirected to the RingCentral Webinar Host Portal.

Via Users tab

  1. Go to the Admin Portal and sign in. 
  2. Click Users from the top menu.
  3. Go to Users List > Users with Extensions.
  4. Click the three-dot Actions icon at the far right of the user to whom you want to assign the license.
  5. Click Edit licenses on the dropdown.

  1. Check the box for Webinar under Add-on licenses.
  2. Click Update.

Unassigning a RingCentral Webinar license

  1. Go to the Admin Portal and sign in.
  2. Select Billing from the top menu.

  1. Click Meetings > Webinar in the left panel.
Click the meetings tab then the webinar tab
  1. Click on the three-dot Actions icon at the far right of the Webinar license, then select Unassign.
Click unassign
Note: The unassigned RingCentral Webinar license can be reassigned to another user.
