This release contains improvements and bug fixes for RingCentral Video (RCV).

Improvements

  • Enhanced performance analysis by sending memory and system information to RCV.

Bug fixes

  • Resolved an issue where switching to a different camera during a meeting didn’t take effect immediately.
  • Fixed an issue where the Ignore Mouse feature only worked after drawing something on screen.
  • Addressed a video flickering issue that occurred after using the annotation tool. 
  • Fixed a problem where annotation lines weren’t visible to the presenter.
  • Annotation text now updates in real time when edited.

Improvements

  • Optimized cookie usage to improve performance when downloading PDF files from messages.
  • Users can now add RingCentral to the notification priority list to receive notifications when Focus Assist mode is on.
  • IT admins can disable auto-launch after installation on macOS devices.
  • Upgrade to Electron 33 in progress (target rollout: June 2025).
    Note: The minimum supported macOS version will be 11 (Big Sur).
  • RingCentral Partner app updates
    • The Reset app data option is now available.
    • No auto-updates will occur during meetings, even when an IT-pushed update is triggered.
    • A new admin-less auto-update PKG installation build is available.

  • Removed: windows-quiet-hours
