New product release with the following key features:
Major performance improvements: We have been hard at work improving the conversational capabilities of the AI Receptionist and are excited to roll it out to our customers. You will experience much improved latency, more smoother conversations and an overall improvement in the performance of the receptionist.
AIR available in RC Canada: AIR is now available in RC Canada (controlled availability) Canadian customers can now sign up and express their interest for AIR via ringcentral.com/air
Add websites for knowledge base source: Users can upload website links in order to augment AIR’s knowledge base. We will scrap the contents of the URL as well as all pages linked from that URL and build the knowledge base internally.
Transfer calls to external numbers: As part of contextual transfer, AIR can now transfer calls to external numbers as well.
Updated UI for setup and configuring skills: We heard your feedback about simplifying and improving the setup experience, and have made it more clear and easy to setup as well as customize additional skills. This includes the AIR config page, custom greeting skill, SMS configuration skill.
Transfer info in call logs: Now when a call is transferred to another extension, we show the info directly in the call transcripts so you don’t have to go elsewhere to find out where the call was transferred.
Bug Fixes
SMS messages that contained numbers (such as address or phone numbers) were sending the numbers incorrectly as words. That has now been resolved.
