Accessing and downloading RingCentral call recordings

Where do you want to access your call recordings?

  1. In the left navigation bar, click Phone > Call recordings.
Go to Call recordings
  1. Choose what you want to do with a call recording:
    • Play: Listen to the recording. Use the slider to fast-forward or rewind.
    • Download: Hover over the recording, then click the Download icon at the far right to save the recording as an MP3 file.
      Note: You may need to click the three-dot More icon at the far right to show additional options. 
    • Delete: Hover over the recording, then click the Delete icon at the far right. In the popup window, click Delete to confirm.

Call recording options
Note: Click the Filter recordings icon to filter recordings by name or phone number.
  1. Open and sign in to the RingCentral mobile app.
  2. In the bottom menu, tap Phone.

  1. At the top right, tap the Recordings tab.

  1. You’ll have access to the following controls:
    • Search recordings: Enter the name of a participant to search the call recording list.
    • Share: Send the recording to another person.
    • Information: View call recording details.
    • Play/Stop: Play or stop recording. 
    • Speaker: Switch audio source: speaker, phone, or headset. 
    • Message: Chat, text, or message the participant.
    • Call: Call the participant.
    • Delete: Delete the recording. 
  1. Go to the Admin Portal and sign in. If you’re an admin, click Admin Portal > My Extension at the top right.

  1. In the top menu, click Call Log.

  1. Choose what you want to do with a call recording:
    • Play: Click the Play button in the Recording column to listen to any recorded call. Use the slider to fast-forward or rewind.
    • Download: Click the Play button in the Recording column, then click Download at the far right in the play menu. 
    • Delete: Check the box to the left of the recording, then click Delete at the top of the table.

  1. Open and sign in to the RingCentral Phone app.
  2. In the top menu, click the Call Log icon.
  3. Click Recordings.

    • Play: Click the recording, then click the Play button. Use the slider to fast-forward or rewind.
    • Save: Click the recording, then click Save to download it as an MP3 file.
    • Delete: Click the Call details icon at the far right of the recording, then click the Delete icon.
