Turning on the Heads-up display in the RingCentral app

The Heads-up display (HUD) provides advanced phone functionality and gives you quick access to your frequently used extensions. In the HUD, you can create a list of extensions and call, text, and monitor them.

Turning on the HUD
Via Settings
Go to Settings in the left navigation bar.
Click Phone.
Under General, click the toggle to turn on the Heads-up display (HUD).
If the RingCentral app is your default phone app, click Manage to turn on Ring when extensions I am monitoring receive incoming calls. Click Save.
Via Phone
If you’re using the new Phone experience, you can turn on the HUD from the Phone menu.
Click Phone in the left navigation bar.
Click the three-dot More icon at the upper right.
In the dropdown, click the slider to turn on the HUD.

After turning on the HUD, click Phone > HUD in the left navigation bar to access the following settings:
